Enjoy life was probably one of the first Gluten free brands I tried on my gluten free journey. They had some great products and they were free of eight of the most common allergens; I found them to be very good, which wasn’t always the case with other products /brands. One of the first products of theirs that I tried was the granola. I liked the different flavors they had and I liked the fact that it was tasted really good and was nutritious. Along with having it on your yogurt in the morning – you could eat it out of the bag as a snack [which I did a lot! ].
Recently, they came out with their decadent soft baked bars; they were introduced into Canada about a month and half ago. I was asked if I would like to review and try them out for the Canadian market. Of course I would, I love their products – they are always so good and have a good variety.
The new bars came in four flavors: a cherry cobbler, chocolate sunbutter, cinnamon bun, and S’mores. Of course, my favorite was the chocolate sunbutter – it was the perfect mixture of chocolate and sesame butter – 2 of my favorites! I was very surprised at how much my daughter enjoyed the Cherry Cobbler as it has more of a tart taste – I quite liked the contrast. My daughter really liked the Cinnamon bun but I found it a bit too sweet for my taste, but still good. The S’mores were probably my least favorite although they were tasty. All the bars were drizzled with chocolate and were very moist. If you like Enjoy Life’s baked Chewy bars, you will like these as well. Although not as chewy as the baked bars [ I find them more like a soft cookie] the Decadent bars are more like a bar rather than a soft cookie.
