The ROM – a quick visit.

I always love heading into Toronto for a day trip with my daughter; we like to stop in to some of the great attractions Toronto is lucky to have and we are lucky to be close enough to visit whenever we can.  I was attending an event in Toronto, and asked my daughter to come with me so we could make a day of it and drop by the ROM [Royal Ontario Museum], one of our favourite places to hang out in Toronto.  It is such an amazing place full of incredible artifacts and so much history, we see something new every time we visit!  We usually have a mom/daughter day in Toronto after school finishes – take the train in, enjoy the ride  and get some shopping in. Then we  head back home on the train in  business class and have a pre-ordered gluten free meal.  We hadn’t had a chance to do this yet this year, so this was going to be a teaser for the next one.  Maybe we will do an over night stay as this one was a shorter trip than I would have liked, but I enjoyed it just as much! Love spending the time with her and experiencing new things together. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to see everything we wanted to see as this trip was a quick one…we will definitely have to come back for another more lengthy trip… as I mentioned earlier, there is so much to see.  You need to really spend a fair bit of time there, but it is so worth it!  Check out the ROM and its special exhibits, you won’t be disappointed!   ROM   What are some of your favourite places to visit in Toronto?  There are so many- and many on my list to see for the first time!

    1. Love, love the Zoo too! I think it is time we had another vidit there! 🙂

  1. The ROM is definitely on our list of favourites as is the Science Centre. We also love going to Centre Island for a low-key day.

  2. I have not been to the ROM since I was in public school! We never really go to Toronto to visit and see things, but we really should plan a trip one of these years.

    1. You should Judy! So many wonderful things to see! 🙂
