‘Feel Good’ with Dempsters and #FeelGoodBread

I like to make sure my family eats well and feels good. Part of that is making sure we eat healthy and nutritious food. For my family, it is eating breads like Dempster’s gluten zero– a gluten free bread made with the goodness of whole grain sorghum flour, whole grain brown rice flour, whole grain millet flour, sunflower seeds and flaxseed. Loaded with fibre, protein and iron. They are also certified by the Canadian Celiac Association’s Gluten-Free Certification Program (GFCP) and made in a dedicated gluten free facility . And that makes me feel real good! 🙂

Dempsters is on a mission is to make Canadians feel good through healthy eating and happy living. Visit www.feelgoodindex.ca. The Feel Good Index monitors what Canadians are tweeting across the country.

This site was created to measure the mood of the nation to help make our mission a reality . The Feel Good Index monitors what Canadians are tweeting across the country. It then calculates the overall feeling in each region by comparing the number of times people use keywords associated with “good” feelings to the number of times people use keywords associated with “not-so-good” feelings.

If people in a city tweet more “feel good” keywords than “feel not-so-good” keywords, the city is given a positive score – or a negative score if they tweet more “feel not-so-good” keywords.

The Index then adds up all the scores from each region and averages them out equally to calculate the mood of Canada as a whole.  Keeping tabs on the mood of the nation may not be exact science, but they have  done their best to create as accurate a representation as possible. In a way, the process is equal parts art and science, just like baking.

Head on over to  www.feelgoodindex.ca, try out the tweet generator and help your city get on the index.
