I love having guests over, there is nothing better than getting together with friends over a meal. There is always a lot of great conversation and food. Sadly, once it is time to leave there is always cleanup to be done. Sometimes it is quick and easy, other times there is a bit more to clean up… A lit bit of a spill of wine here, or a touch of sauce splattered onto the cloth or napkin.
When that happens, I pull out the OxiClean, it contains specialized stain removers (like oxygen, surfactants and polymers) that remove stains and prevent them from re depositing onto your laundry so they can be rinsed away.
One of the most stubborn stains I find are the lipstick stains on napkins, not all lipsticks are the same and some are tougher than others to get out.
The napkin below had both Lipstick and tomato sauce stains, I pre-soaked in OxiClean, after an hour the tomato sauce was gone but the lipstick remained ( sometimes some stains need a little more time) so I let it soak some more. It finally did the trick! So next time I use the napkins, I don’t have to worry about guests seeing the stains… they aren’t here!
We also had a little wine spill, not much but red wine drops on a light rug show up! Unfortunately, we didn’t notice the drops until after the guests had left and by that time, they had already dried. I pulled out the OxiClean™ again ( you can use it for so many things around the house, not just tough stains on clothes!)
Just mix up a scoop in 473 ml of warm water and mix until dissolved, then apply to saturate stains, let sit for 5-10 min, blot then rinse and voila, stain is gone! Take a look, looks great once dried!
