The life of a Celiac: this video short was made a few years ago as a project for university but the message in the video is still as meaningful today as it was then, many of us can identify with it. If you, or someone close to you are starting the journey, make sure to reach out to others; there are chapters of the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness in many cities in the US and the Canadian Celiac Association in Canada. You don’t have to do it alone.
First off, that video is amazing for a university project. Secondly, thanks for the reminder of the difficulties that people with celiac face. It’s good to keep in mind that celiac is grossly different from a “gluten sensitivity” or dietary choice.
I know, right? She did an amazing job with it. Yes, but even when there is sensitivity or intolerance great care must be taken. 🙂
