#loveLunch with #GlutenFree @Schneiders Country Naturals plus #Giveaway.

School is just around the corner, and making sure that lunches are varied and nutritious can sometimes be a challenge for my teen.  Every once in a while it is nice to have something different- I try to look for some deli meats that she might like, but not all deli meats are gluten free, so I really liked that Schneiders has come out with Schneiders  Country Naturals;  their line of gluten free deli sliced and shaved meats along with their gluten free bacon, ham, hotdogs and sausages. What I also really like is that there are:

· No preservatives added 

·  No artificial ingredients, colour or flavours

·  No additives

·  No MSG or by-products

I know my daughter will be enjoying a healthy lunch! She is also a big fan of the Schneiders Country Naturals Hotdogs – she had never really been a big fan of pork but really likes the hotdogs!

Cold cuts for lunch are so convenient- I like to have my cold cuts without any bread product – just the cold cut wrapped around some cheese. My daughter likes her carbs, so she likes to have  her cold cuts in some sort of sandwich/wrap.  I will usually make up some cheese buns for her [or she makes some up herself] but I found these great soft corn tortillas that are gluten free that she really likes, so lately she will often have a wrap.

Deli Wrap

  • 1 soft corn tortilla
  • cream cheese [ can use mayo, but I like the extra boost of protein ]
  • sliced tomato
  • lettuce
  • 2 slices of cold cuts [ my daughter prefers the oven roasted turkey or the oven roasted chicken]
  • sliced avocado

I place the tortilla in microwave with a moistened paper towel for a few seconds to soften it a bit more  and make it more pliable and easier to wrap. Spread cream cheese on the tortilla, place cold cuts on top followed by the lettuce, tomatoes, and avocado.  wrap securely .  this is also really nice just warmed a bit too.  Add some fruit and yogurt to finish off and you have a great nutritious lunch!
